Stones

Stone is a material that has many advantages like its durability, adaptability and it can be use in its natural state. But it also has some disadvantages, is difficult to quarry, cut and transport. Its weakness is tension limits. Stones can be used in many things like lintels, beams, floor support, roofing, and even for monolithic support. There are lots of stone works like rubble, which is the cheapest stone and it’s roughly brokenand. And ashlar mansory, which is really a strong and stable stone, it’s used in monumental architecture. Stones have been used as a material for building since the Stone Age.
